Here are some new Crate & Barrel videos, in which Reese surprises fans with new furniture!
Our friend Reese Witherspoon found Crate and Barrel fans and surprised them with new furniture for their home. She helped them say “out with the old, in with the YOU!”
We’re starting back at the beginning as we work on the TV Appearances section of the Gallery, and today have screencaptures and/or stills from Reese’s first appearances on US talk shows! Reese appeared on Leno and Conan in 1998, and during the latter show she talked about Pleasantville, Twilight/Paul Newman and Cruel Intentions. In 1999 she appeared on Letterman during which she talked about The Man In The Moon and her pregnancy, and then on Conan a couple of months later she was more heavily pregnant and talked about food cravings and Election. All were great interviews – Reese was so endearing in them and I loved hearing her talk about her movies!

We’re going to start to work our way through updating and (trying so hard to) ‘complete’ the TV Appearances section of our Gallery now. The first additions are super rare and special, and deserve their own post.
Way back in February 1999, MTV aired a “special weekend of winter programming” at The Snow Summit Mountain Resort in Southern California. They featured music video premieres, snowboarding competitions, performances and reality shows/competitions … and a half hour special with the cast of Cruel Intentions! Reese, Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair joined host Carson Daly on the slopes for a chat about the film while 15 fans watched a preview of the film in a mountain chalet; when they’d finished watching, Reese and the cast joined them in a chalet for a Q&A session. Reese spoke about trying to make her character and relationship with Sebastien believable. We’ll have videos for you soon, but for now we’ve added screencaptures from the show to our Gallery. They are very small and of poor quality but very rare and a great addition none-the-less!
Reese has made so many TV appearances over the years, we’re hoping some of you will be able to help us complete this section. We have many of her appearances on major talk shows from the past 10 years, but if you have videos of appearances from before this, or any international shows then please get in touch!! Also, if you happen to have saved any of the videos from the site many years ago (10+ years ago) when we had a Video section, we’d really appreciate it if you could get in touch, as we lost most of them during changes in site hosts. As anticipated, Reese made an appearance at Apple’s big new product launch event in California today! She was joined by her co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell to tease their upcoming show for the brand – now officially titled “The Morning Show“!
Reese said that the show “pulls back the curtain on the power dynamics between men and women in the high stakes world of morning news shows. It’s a real insiders view into the lives of the people who help America wake up every day”. It’s “seen through the eyes of two ambitious, aspirational female characters,” she says – and a “prominent male” Steve Carell adds. Steve Carell said that he was “happy to provide the manliness”! Jennifer added that it’s an “honest look at the complex relationships between women and men in the workplace, and we engage in the conversation people are a little too afraid to have unless they are behind closed doors”. Reese describes it as being a “high velocity thrill ride in which we pose questions without easy answers”.
The show will premiere on Apple’s new TV streaming service – AppleTV+ – which they say will be launching later in the year. No date for the start of The Morning Show just yet though. You can re-watch the whole event in HD and read more about their new AppleTV+ service at Apple.com.

Cruel Intentions cast spills all the details on making the seductive teen drama
Welcome back to Manchester Prep. In 1999, audiences gaped (and gasped) as Hollywood’s teen royalty engaged in sexual debauchery and 1-percenter power games in Roger Kumble’s erotic, darkly comedic modern classic, which returns to theaters Friday [22nd March] in honor of its 20th anniversary.

The Beginnings
After watching 1996’s coming-of-age black comedy Welcome to the Dollhouse, playwright Roger Kumble felt inspired to pen a dark story centered on a young cast. So he took the soulless aristocrats of the 18th-century French novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses and reimagined them as depraved upper-class Manhattan teens.
ROGER KUMBLE (writer-director): It’s just a great story. It’s got drama and comedy and tragedy, and you can’t do that so often these days. Movies have to fit in a box. You don’t know where to put Cruel Intentions in the aisle, you know?

Over the past few weeks we’ve been continuing to work on the Movies section of the Gallery, and today the A Wrinkle In Time category has been updated and completed! Lots of high quality posters have been added, along with HD screencaptures from various featurettes. Although not one of my favourite movies of Reese’s, there’s no denying the beautiful scenery, production, costumes and hair and make-up in the film.
Tons of other stills within the Movies section of the Gallery have been updated with high quality versions this weekend too – too many to list here, but ones we’re sure you’ll enjoy when you come across them!
And so the Movies section of the Gallery is now ‘complete’! Reese has such a fantastic filmography, and it’s been fun going through each movie and ensuring we have the most complete collection of photos to document her career. There’s still lots more to come in the Gallery – including TV appearance screencaptures and more from Reese’s advertising campaigns…
• Movies > A Wrinkle In Time
As part of our birthday celebrations this weekend, we’re updating the Gallery with some rare treats. In this batch, we have fabulous high quality out-takes from Reese’s 2018 portrait session for USA Today. These were taken in New York City last September, when Reese was promoting her book ‘Whiskey In A Teacup’. Reese looks super-chic and professional in her red jumpsuit and they’re a really great set of out-takes. Enjoy!
Our favourite actress celebrates her birthday today, and we’d like to wish Reese a very Happy Birthday! 
We hope she spends her day with loved ones, surrounded by her favourite things – coffee, books and dogs! She undoubtedly deserves it given the busy year she’s had – effectively taking over the world! We’re so proud of the work she’s doing, and can’t wait to see what she does next!
